I would recommend the Kistler KLX. Everything that comes out of North Fork Composites will be a great American made rod blank and the KLX is based on that.

A Dobyns 734 in the Champion series is my favorite rod of all time. There is always one on deck with Texas rigged soft plastic, always. Balance, light, sensitive, it just feels good throwing worms all day. Nice thing about this rod is it is great at lots of techniques but really shines when casting, flipping or casting plastics. Best all around/do anything rod I own. I would go with the 735 or 736 if I was always throwing larger jigs or BIG plastics constantly but for daily soft plastics it shines. Hey, it even costs a penny less than $250! :-) It's also a great chatter bait rod.

The most sensitive Rod I know is Rod Stewart but he's getting much better after his last album is selling good. 
I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

After this thread you will probably be more confused than ever about a worm rod. Every rod listed will be a good rod and do the job. I personally use Kistler (Argon) and think they are a great rods. As long as you buy quality it wont really matter which brand it is. You don't have to break the bank for to get a good rod. IMO your best feel for bites is through your line. A rod can only give you feedback based on the input from the line you are using.

Look for a rod made with the best components in the price range you are looking at, the quality of the components are a big part of the sensitivity...

thanks for the input "guys"..i am looking at a custom gary loomis north fork composites hm 7".6' mh fast rod with great hardware..and a glx 953c 7".11 "..for deep water plastic,lots of trees so I need to get them up or its wrap up time, any input on these rods thanks

Beware of people that speak in absolutes. Phenix K2 and North Fork Composite HM blanks are easily on par with the NRX but fall outside your price range. For a production rod the 13 Envy line are pretty outstanding. I much preferred it to the old Dobyns DX line. Probably wiser to beware of someone arguing someone else's subjective opinion to a question requiring a subjective opinion. Subjective? Perhaps. However, you brought up Loomis which is no longer produced by Gary. He has since switched to North Fork composites. For you to speak so highly of the NRX and not even mention his new products is a bit strange. As far as subjective opinions go... Perhaps you should have included one regarding rods in the price range requested by the OP?

For $200, the Duckett White Ice 7'3" H Pete Ponds is a good, sensitive alternative. You quoted only part of my original post. Nice work.

You neglected to say what type of line you would be using with this rod.. It has as much or more bearing on the sensitivity than the rod.

Tungsten plus fluorocarbon. However, if I was searching for a sensitive rod, I would choose a northfork or batson blank. These are the only 2 produced in the US that I'm aware of.
