I've seen you fish inside the "Keep Out" buoys.
Have some respek. It's bad enough when 3 grown men have to let you know to not fish in there.

99.9% of the issues on here are because you don't know who bassboy1234 is unless you've met them somewhere and know their TFF handle. There's plenty of healthy debate here that can remain respectful when those involved in the discussions know each other. The issue in my opinion simply comes down to respect and the ability to hide behind a screen name facilitates disrespect that you wouldn't see other wise.

Having said all of that the page views and reach of this forum would be cut in half if everyone in the bass section were best friends and singing Kumbayah... Truth be told the majority of us like the train wreck threads better than which polarized glasses should I buy...

TFF is a get away for a lot of people. That is why it is so popular during the week (majority of adults are at work).

Nothing like a good train wreck. If it wasn't for the trainwrecks all we would have is stupid what line threads and guys asking for a rod recommendation in the 250 range and some goof suggesting a 500 dollar rod. Or videos of box openings.

Actually, bassboy1234 is a stick. I know him personally.

And if it weren't for the trainwrecks, how would we get our post count up to command more respek?

(NRX is the best rod under $250..... Everyone knows that)

I will take it a step further. Making 4789 posts on a fishing message board doesn't prove that you truly know anything. It proves that you think your opinion is relevant and it also proves that you get something from reading your own words.

It's just fishing... It's supposed to be fun.

When computers were in their infancy we had Compuserve. I tried for months to get people on Compuserve to post local fishing results and reports for Texas.
It never happened.

Be thankful for what we have these days, it offers tons of information, up to date reports, shared experiences, even support when life gets much more serious than just catching a few fish.

We've come a long ways, baby..

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

So true, filter through the BS and you can get a ton of knowledge, that wasn't available in my youth.

Nothing different in this section than all the other TFF sub forums. The internet seems to turn people into **** *****.

No doubt there are peeps on here that just take the fun out of fishing, I'm guessing they do the same in other aspects of their lives too.
