First is the alarm constant horn or an intermittent beep? Water in the fuel? Pull cowling and check red light warning for water.

Most of the time it was a continuous horn blow I could slow down in speed and then it would beep five or six times then stop going slow 2500 rpm or lower it just beep speed up continue long soild sound

My 2003 150efi did the same thing the other day. I was running 5600 rpm for about a mile and the alarm started screaming. Engine started and idled fine but missed and cut out at about 3500rpm just before getting on pad. Limped back to ramp and loaded up. Engine block was real hot to touch. Checked compression and still have 125psi in all 6 holes. Changed plugs and back flushed engine when I got home. Looked like I blew out a bunch of sand and dirt and the tell tale stream increased a bunch. My oil reservoir is still full. Haven't been back out to test but hoping the fail safes of the computer cause the engine missing and cutting out and it will be OK after the maintenance and cooling off.

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!
