Thanx for the nice comments! Equipment used was abu 7000 100# powerpro braid m/h 8ft eagle claw catclaw rod and 12/0 gamakatsu big river bait hook. Bait was a fresh dead whole 13" gizzard shad. We were fishing for alligator gar. The fight only lasted about 5 min just dead weight when we landed her she was dripping out eggs and looked like she had spawned out most of them already so we released her.hopefully we didn't stress her out too much

No record  flatheads must be 45inches to qualify. Oh well she'll keep trying
