Shot this on a trip last week to SPI. This was east of Three Islands.

Know that area well. Headed down in about a month. How was the fishing? We spend a lot of time around the Cullen House, Rattlesnake, etc.

I saw a lot of fish but I was trying to pole the boat, flycast and shoot video by myself. I missed a lot of fish that should have been caught if I would have had someone with me. Most of the fish that I saw were on the west side of the islands along the ship channel, south of the Arroyo. When the tide was high enough they were cruising right along the shoreline in the off color water. Also saw some big trout on the back side of the islands just south of the Cullen house channel. I only got a shot at one of them but hadn't spooked yet and I dropped a shrimp fly right on top of his back, he did not like that.
