Well, all three of those lakes got em from water being released from lakes upstream. Not much can be done about that.

Well, all three of those lakes got em from water being released from lakes upstream. Not much can be done about that. You know this how? The fact that lakes upstream have them and are releasing water. Seems pretty simple to me. Not sure what there is to question.

Because Bridgeport had/has them.....upstream from them. It is logical based on their reproductive cycle/how they reproduce.

I'm going w/no "fisherman error" on this one since they were confirmed upstream way before. Seems most logical. Now don't ask me how they got in Bridgeport! :-)

I'm sure every lake that flooded or has water from a another lakes spillway will soon have them.

They would have to kill every duck,goose,crane,water turkey yada yada to keep them out of lakes.

They would have to kill every duck,goose,crane,water turkey yada yada to keep them out of lakes. Exactly Now the TPWD is using this as way to fine people and collect revenue. TPWD is becoming just another corrupt run department in Texas

I asked a game warden why they were doing this to boaters since there was no way to control the water coming from lakes upstream that had zebra mussels and that was the main source of contamination due to the flooding. He said it was something they could control. I told him that was a pretty sad answer.
