It fishes slow for me but I caught my 2 PB in one night there on a black spinner bait with a huge colorado blade. If you drive it you'll find fish schooling some main points at different times of the night. I'll probably be there tomorrow night. Went this morning and it just gets too hot for me.

Slow roll the spinner bait. For night mine has an extra large blade that really thumps. Don't get many bites on it but when you do, hang on. Mainly the big point coming off the middle of the lake towards the dam. It is usually really slow until around midnight. I'm not a dock fisherman. Don't ever get a bite on a dock but I'd try up in the marina also. The points over by the state park marina should be good also.
I'm probably going to be throwing a 10-12" worm on a carolina rig and a blk/blue jig when I go tomorrow.

If you can find a little brush in 12-15'throw a 5XD/6XD and crank it slow, they will also bite a jig in the same areas. Whatever you throw they seem to want it very slow at night. I use the same colors I would use in daylight.
Edit: It's not a real good night fishing lake but this time of year fishing at night for random bites is more fun for me.
Real trucks don't need spark plugs.

Agree that it is a easy lake to navigate at night if you stay between the bridges and use your mapping software. I prefer a full moon, gets even easier. Just make sure you spend sometime on the lake during the day to orientate yourself to the trees that are in the coves. Please remember to keep your navigation lights on. Almost hit a guy one night because he did not have his on.

Learn some of the offshore spots and it can be good for numbers too.
In front of the dam along the edge of the channel leading to the tower can be good at times.

I took the grandkids out last night and just gave them minnows and worms and stayed around the marina lights for the most part plus they had the tournament. Going to head out there in a bit and try for bass tonight. If it was as calm as last night, I'm not sure how the bite will be but will make it easy to work some off shore spots. If I have any luck Hattrck, I will post and let you know.
