Went over to granger Sat morning and started fishing in 3' of water. Had a few bites but after a while moved to 12' of water. The bite did pick up with fish suspended at 6' to 8' deep. Ended up with 10 blue cats in the 15" to 20" range. My daughter had one really good hard bite. The pole had a good bend in it, but the fish let go after a few reels. Only fished about 3 hours. The lake started to white cap and just having back surgery 10 weeks ago, didn't want to push it. Lake was at 508.7. Letting a lot of water out of the spillway. Myself just never have done good on a fast falling lake or river. Plans are to fish again Wednesday. Hopefully some bigger fish to take pictures of so I can post. fish

Watch the rocks on the side of the boat ramps at Willis Creek and Friendship. Seen a boat hit them other day at Friendship. They are dropping the lake pretty fast.

friendship finally out of the water? was out behind the spillway last week cause the tables were still underwater.

Give man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach man to fish, he'll sit on a boat and drink beer all day.

Lake is at 506.4 now. Only 2 ft up now, last Sat it was 508.7. Looked like a lot of people below the spillway last Sat. How did ya'll do? Looks like they are not letting out as much water today as last Sat. That might help improve fishing on the lake this weekend.
