Can you use the same carpet and glue on your trailer bunk rails as you would use on the boat floor itself?

yes but I also staple the carpet on the back side of the bunks with stainless staples...

if you need to recarpet in the future,think the glue will be a bad idea,just redid mine stainless steel staples,and alots of them

Definite use glue. Otherwise the carpet will stretch with movement and walking and then you have to pull it up and redo it.
