Nailed the whites and striper when the water was cooler and before the flooding... Found a few whites in schools sparatically hitting the surface for a few seconds then gone.. I typically like to drop slabs on them but hard to find any numbers anymore. Picked up a couple trolling crank baits but nothing worth sticking around for. Anyone having any kind of luck on Canyon locating stripers or whites? I'm thinking I'm looking in the wrong places.

I was able to have great success last summer on Canyon Lake. I found striper on 40-50 FOW flats near channels on the mid-south end of lake. I almost overlooked them...

I was looking around using side scan and spotted what I thought was a pile of rocks or a hard spot on the bottom. I moved the cursor over to the spot and zoomed in and saw several streaks within the spot. I set a "GO-TO" waypoint and Ipilot anchored my boat over the spot. It was loaded with streaks. We dropped chartreuse slabs to them and started wacking immediately. It was fish on every drop until the school moved. We would ride around and spot similar spots and repeat. The whites were near these areas but about 10'-15' shallower.

Hope this helps...GOD BLESS!

Very cool! Absolutely helps. I've seen the same type graph with stripers in April-may.. Some days even birds were workin. Here lately it's just been tough.. Thank you again.
