Slow night. Broke a rod tip and lost a few lures. Only ended up with 3, all on the black spinner bait. Missed about 4 more on spinner bait and carolina rig. Everything caught between 5-10 ft. I covered 75% of the lake.

Hey man dropped. Phone in lake and hadnt really been on mich since but all recovered now. I night fished that evening and caught 12-16 between paetner and I but all were dinks and i mean all. Nit one of size started out of lynn creek mzrina fished down through park and on to the 3 points tgen continued down dam wall and finished by coming straight up to big main point between tve two arms Nd back to marina caught few on shakey heads and cpl on tx tig lizards and such most fish were caught on dropshot setup for shLlow water gonna head and fish it this morning and hope to get inyo some bigger /better quality fish

I've only fished joe pool a few times and wondering if anybody could tell me how it is night fishing The Good Lord made night time for two things and Fishin ain't one of 'em!!

I haven't fished it at night.. but i can see where it would probably fish pretty easy.. not talking about catching but fishing! Night fishing is a totally different experience in focusing your senses on feel vs sight. I see guys fishing the bridge a lot on the Loyd Park side, but I really don't know what they are fishing for.. I assume Sand Bass or Crappie, but around where the creek channel goes under the bridge I bet there are some bass there. Never fished the Lynn Creek Marina either.. but lights draw shad..
Between now and the first frost.. unless you fish during the week Joe Pool is going to be like a bee hive.. I may have to give some night fishing a try.

I went last night and didnt catch squat. Has a few short strike my lures. Once daylight came, they started biting a bit. Eas really call but the lake filled up quickly and became a madhouse. Sucks having weekends off right now
