Are there any good ponds around central plano for bass? I've been to a few and have and no luck. Any tips or suggestions would be very appreciated.

Check out the Community Lakes post on this subforum, which pretty much focuses on Collin County. There are tons of ponds in and around Plano, almost all of which hold bass. Typically though the bass are on the smallish side, so you often need to downsize your lures to have the best luck.

Have you tried the Bank Fishing Map that is the first thread in the bank fishing forum? LOTS of cool spots that you may have never knew existed. It is a valuable resource that a lot of fishermen have made available. It even has tabs to let you know what fish species are in the locations. My daughter and I used the Bank fishing carp map and she caught her personal best last Saturday. 15 lb Common. Here is the link for Bank Fishing. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=113383920670338245597.000483d695aca456dff03
