Hello group,

I am looking to replace my depth finder at the console. I currently have a Lowrance Gen 1 HDS7. I was looking at moving that unit to the front of the boat and replacing the console unit to a Lowrance HDS7 Gen2 Touch/Gen 3. When looking at all different models, it can be confusing on what all the features are. Keep in mind i am fairly new to this process. I am looking to spend between 2000-2500 and it will cost me about 400 to get it professionally installed. I would really like to get structurescan. Do both of these have everything I need to be set up for success? Which one would you pick?

Call Lake Fork Electronics at Lake Fork. I think they might be able to save you a few dollars.
