Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish, he will sit in a boat all day and drink beer.

I had read in the past that all the high water may kill the trees in the parks. In the photo above, the trees look good. DO they look good in most locations around the lake? Camping would not be the same without the shade trees.

Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone elses.

I think that size of tree may become a boating hazard. We've had back to back years of Lake Somerville over flood stage by 22 feet and this year had it happen twice since Memorial day. So the trees can become a problem for boaters.

"Follow me and I will make thee a fisher of men!" Bust open my nets LORD!!! because, I am a wishing I was a fishing!!

Well I was afraid of that, just hope they aren't jumping the gun, they've had big oak trees seem to come back from the dead 2 years after a major flooding event around whitney, just because they didn't leaf out this year doesn't mean their goners just under stress.
