Well, he ended up getting a phone call from police Friday afternoon. They said they found his truck in a field in Crandall, still running. They didn't turn it off so he could drive it home. They busted his steering column, screwed up the lock on the drivers side, stole his radio, dented his tool box but weren't able to get in it, and dented the body a little while they were trying to get in the tool box. It was a blessing that they didn't get in his tool box since every tool he uses to make a living was in there. They got one good print off so now he gets to wait to see if they get a match.

Hopefully they didn't do any engine or transmission damage to it. Never know how they drove it or how hard they drove it in their escapade. Thankfully he got it back, I'm sure he's put a lot of work into the truck too. As much as I would like my truck to sell, it would make me sick to see it get stolen or anything like that!

Most of the stolen older F250s end up in south Texas used by Coyotes to transport illegal immigrants. That truck needs a hidden kill switch or one of those plug in pieces to complete the ignition circuit.

Being in Florida, I never would have thought of that. Over here they just use the Greyhound Bus.
