There are no slips on that side of the dock, so technically there would be no reason remove it other then it being a hazard at night.

There are no slips on that side of the dock, so technically there would be no reason remove it other then it being a hazard at night. Technically you can't impede or cut off people to public water

Then it would block everyone and no one could go back there.

I briefly looked at it today. I didn't look that close but I thought that I saw boats in slips on that side but I could be wrong. It didn't look like there was much room back there any more.
