Fished Monday and Wednesday nights from about 8p-midnight. Put out the lights and caught 30 Mon with 11 keepers. Fished Wed and caught 16 keepers. Big fish was 14 inches. Caught a ton of 9 inchers all goin back. all in 14 fow on minnows and jigs. Gonna be nice next year when all of those small fish grow a bit.

I went last night (sat. 6/24) and found some on a lone Bois d` arc tree setting out in a cove in about 11 fow suspended @ 8 ft.They were not monsters but good solid keeps. After putting the Crappie light out,I must have caught at least 40 Crappie total but most were of the non legal 9 " variety. A Texas Toast Slab Bandit with a pink 1/16 oz JH and Pearl Truse SB on a Wht 1/16 oz JH from Bone Head tackle was the ticket. There were several White bass and a nice whisker fish that came to visit that tree also. Given my expectations,It turned out to be a nice evening on Lake Waxahachie

It seems there has been an abundance of 9 inch fish in the two years I have been fishing it on a regular. The dinks far outnumber the keepers. Wish they would all grow up.
