Anyone been to FWNC recently that can report on water level and flow? I hope to go Friday with my son coming in from out of town. When I was last there, maybe in April, I could not get all the way thru to 10-mile bridge due to logs blocking the way. Wonder if that is still the case. I also may be renting an extra kayak from Kayak rentals next to the FWNC and wonder who has used them before.

Took my son Sunday and had a blast
Flow was ok
Paddled past the bridge almost to the dam
Picked up quite a few small ones
There was also a good flow out of the marsh draining and good fishing close to the launch.
Good luck

Thanks. Wasn't able to get out on the yaks with my son but we did go by the Nature Center last week and checked the river level and flow. Might try to get out there this weekend. Did notice the flow from the marsh. Also watched two vultures in a branch of a tree right above us trading what looked like a foot long piece of intestine. One would appear to swallow it, then the other would pull it out of its mouth and swallow it. Went back and forth several times. Interesting.
