I am trying to remove my Seastar sport 2.0 with tilt to send it off to get it reseated and gone through. It's leaking fluid out one of the seals and slipping pretty bad and has some play. Any trick
To removing the part with that the wheel mounts to. I can't get it off. It's on a 2000Skeeter 202c

Puller or with the steering wheel on, nut just started to cover the threads. Put your knees behind the bottom of the steering wheel holding upward pressure, pull at the top and hit the nut with a hammer. Should pop up.

Thanks Gary! You always come through! I went to advanced auto parts and got a larger puller. The one I has was little to small and when I tighten it the arms would hit the plastic piece and force it out. I got the bigger one for. $ 24.zip tied Ithe arms to hold it tight and it came off! Made a loud pop but it came off!
