OK, old bass fisherman turning to all kinds. Looking for suggestions for good holders with bases to mount on different areas of the boat deck in order to move them if needed. Thx.

I run the Cabelas 360 HT. Are just like the Scotty but for less money. Plus when I am not using them I can take them off then put them back on or adjust easily. They have handled cats over 30, hybrids, and stripers. Here is the link http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-HT-Rod-Holder/1586568.utsGreat reviews on website and on Walleye.Com where they troll a alot.

I run RAM rod holders, work well and you can buy a couple different types mounting brackets depending on where you want to put them on the boat. They are strong, and easy to remove.

Thanks to all for giving me a few options, but didn't realize how many people use Bee Readys. Unanimous decision on the Crappie forum.
