So we took Scott's boat out today. I let him drive around a while scouting for fish. He was marking them everywhere with his gain at 78%. Finally while he was up grabbing a beer, I adjusted his gain so he would stop marking ghost fish. I aimed his boat at my hot spot (That I had been asking him to go to for over 45 min.)...and his screen lit up with real fish. We started catching. He started playing with his gain again because he didn't see any fish. I finally convinced him to keep going over a WP I marked for him and we kept catching. Even a friends girl friend who joined us would steer the boat back in the right direction when Scott started chasing ghost fish on the finder. By the way her boy friend would not touch the fish so she just picked them up.Kinda made him look wimpy. Geesh! Dealing with a finance guy is hard. He needs to stick with spreadsheets and leave the fish finder settings for this old IT guy. Oh Well...Like my friend says to the prison inmates he works with "I came to play not to stay." So Scott... go ahead and turn up your gain to see ghost fish just not when I am on the boat.I think my new nick name for him will be Ghost Rider

Big girls were biting at my hot spot.

Seriouly the boy was afraid of fish. LOL

Those are some nice fish. I may hit you up before long and make the drive out to see you.

Jason and I will be out tomorrow. We've been catching nice ones there at "your hotspot". The whites were stacked up heavy there with the hybrids under them the other day. My son caught the Jr lake record (11.88lb)in that same spot 2 yrs ago. My wife caught an 8lb one the other day. For some reason, they only will hit the baits while trolling. I have tried spot locking on them with slabs, sassy shads, rat-l-traps, U-rigs, and cranks. I may try some live shad tomorrow.

What time are yall going out?
