 going to Joe Pool this weekend 1st time

Hey Guys,
Not looking for secret spots, but the 1st time I've ever been on this lake will be Saturday morning..
Any tips would be greatly appreciated..

Most success I've been having is 8-20 feet. Jig, dropshot, shakey head, C-rig and a few 9" swimbait fish. Points and flats leading to deeper water.

your sonar is your best friend. beat the bank before 9 or 10 am... after 10 am focus on deep water 15 o 30 feet. idle around use your sonar and find them.

Follow the creek channel and where it run up close to shallow water/bank- we had good success following that routine several times so far. Same here-see a camo kinda Xpress boat, say hi.
