What part of DFW are you in. Joe Pool has been on fire lately. Just flip a baby brush hog in the flooded stuff or in the timber south of the dam and you will be fine.

The Trinity River in downtown Fort Worth offers some of the best bank fishing around for LMB. Take one Baitcaster Medium Heavey rod with braid and a FC leader, some jigs, texas rig supplies, and a frog and hang on! You can park near the Henderson St. bridge and fish from the bank for a couple of miles.

Only a couple when they manage to sneak out of Lake Worth. And Haven't found any bodies recently! There are also consistent 3+ pounders if you can figure them out.
