I never turn down freshwater drum. Smaller ones are good fried and larger ones, 3 lbs and up are good baked in the oven with lemon, butter, salt and pepper. Where are you catching them?

Drum is one of my favorite fish!!!!!! More flavor than bass but meat is nice and firm so it won't fall apart when cooking, especially frying. I have even traded people for them they are the best! No small tail bones like in carp or suckers, bones are thicker than normal and easy to fillet around.
