Saw on the blog that Drew Benton had a weed sprayer up on the bow of the boat with him. What the heck would that be used for??? I understand they are doing some sight fishing, maybe to help with that in some sort of way. It was one of those bottle weed sprayers that you manually pump and has a hose with a wand for spraying. Thoughts?

It dissepates the pollen on top of the water to help see better. Some guys carry water guns etc for same purpose.

So much for fishing the conditions. They can't use an Alabama Rig because it gives the fisherman an unfair advantage but they can use a spray gun to alter the water conditions.
Go figure.

?? That's one heck of a stretch for comparison in my opinion.

I've used a spray bottle with veggie oil while sight fishing out in east texas around those pine trees that cover the water with pollen. Works real good.

I have seen the water gun, the guys using it sprayed some kind of garlic oil on the water and it created a wave break and they could site fish where they weighed in 20+ lbs that day for a nice check.
