Howdy all, Just uploaded a video from this past Saturday. Knuckles and I each caught 50+ sand, striper and hybrid bass on the Brazos; incredible morning. Check out the video link and subscribe to our YouTube channel! Thank you for watching! https://youtu.be/CSBmuZvJQ-M

Thank you Les and Capt. Mac! The water was ripping along at 750 CFS Saturday morning; it's back down to a reasonable flow for easy wading right now, 341 CFS. Knuckles started to sport the new hat and his American flag Hoo-Rag not too long ago; it's his new signature look! He is becoming the fly fishing fashionista! Don't forget to subscribe.

Excellent!
What day were you out there? Looks like you had the place to yourselves!
Did you try the area a little further down from the dam?
I'd love to tag along on your next trip.

Thanks everyone! It is a trip to remember for sure and it's documented, lol! Ashley - we were there Saturday morning and we pretty much did, at least this pool. There were about 10 college kids that camped Friday night and were conventional fishing the first pool in a big cluster; never bothered us. Thinking the higher than normal CFS was keeping folks away or the smell, lol! BRA was releasing water off the bottom of the lake and smelled terrible. Turned my wedding ring purple / blue! Lord only knows what was in the water!! Nick and I may get out there this Saturday morning; we arrive by 5:30 AM and on the water by 5:45 AM. We will let y'all know if we go. Thank y'all again for the kind words on the video. We are trying to make them better and better each time.

Epic day of fishing Enjoyed the video, as always. Hook-Line&Sinker and I have been killing white bass and hybrids below Somerville dam as well. It's flowing 2200 cfs though. It's hard work with the fly rod.
