Guess everyone is tired of seeing my bluegill suppers, but here goes anyway. Gotta do something to pass the time. Caught these yesterday and cooked them today.

Ya know what? Jos and I watch Food Network, Cooking Channel, and all sorts of other culinary stuff... almost as much as we watch fishing shows! I'm wanting to try my hand at bluegill tacos...

Banker, you always send a kind reply. Thank you very much. High Country, have you ever watched any of the YouTube videos made by Juanelo? I think he did one on cooking bluegill tacos. Just google something like Juanelo fishing for bluegills YouTube and you can watch some of his videos. First part of his videos is fishing, and last part is cooking.

Oh great now I'm hungry!

A 1/4lb pound BG on a light action is a day in paradise. I usually give them a kiss Jimmy Houston style and thank them for their gumption (is that a word?) and then look at a empty plate later when asked "I thought you caught dinner!!"

It ain't easy being cheesy.

Thanks to all of you for your replies. Nothing better than a bluegill meal when they are fried up crispy, or baked with seasoning and lemon flavored butter.
