Only latter in the day. When I hit it to try and go it has no power. Never does it early in my trips. If I put it in neutral and rev it up a couple times it seems to burn off gas. Then will work perfect. I'm s plumber not a mechanic do any help would be great

I'm having what seems like the same problem. When engine cold it takes off like normal. Run a while and stop and fish and try to take off it bogs down and takes forever to get on plane. Mine is a 1986 Evinrude 60hp.
Not sure if fuel or electrical???

In addition to above description of 60 hp Evinrude. The VRO has been replaced with a regular fuel pump by a certified mech about 8 years ago. Would sure appreciate some thoughts or opinions!
