When we got so much rain at Texoma the water turned clay red.I was able to run a few trips on Tawakoni.Almost all days we had plenty of sandbass action.alot of under size striper ,and hybrid action. We caught some nice Hybrids as well, and I cleaned my first carp on a customer's request.(There are two 25 inch hybrids on the bottom of the pile) One of the rainy days we had a hitchhiker. I had stepped on to the motor to relive myself my peeps were yelling "You got a huge snake between your legs .I was like YEAH I Know. Why are yall looking.I Thought they were just messing with me.At first I tryed to set on the motor cowling, and I was in gortex.I almost fell in because the motor was wet.I still had not seen the snake yet I looked around, and he stuck his head out ,and slither his tounge. One of the guys on the trip could not stand it any longer so he reached up under the back of the boat grabbed the snake. We kicked him out around last I saw he was swimming around the Holladay humps. One of the days I got a call from my son ,and he ask if I could come out to the state park for his Triathlon, and he was at Twok.I let him know I was on a trip sitting right outside of the park ,and it was windy,so windy my pm trip canceled so we got to fish for a few hours. Not the best pic just proud of my son we caught for about three hours straight.Been working almost every day finally ask for a few days off when my son called, and told me they were going to take the boat to The Coast for the weekend I was booked for Saturday at Texoma so I fished Texoma took a nap till midnight drove down to Freeport in time to Get on the boat for a day of Gulf fishing. We caught Red snapper,Kings, and a 8 ft hammerhead that was snaking on the snapper. Texoma is starting to fish alot better we have had some nice Striper in the mix of Sandbass (some Toads)The water is continuing to improve ,and the fish are growing.I have had some nice boxes.I want to thank our customer's who are willing to Let the stripers back in right now so they can grow.Fall fishing should be great. It is good to be back at Texoma!!!

Boy you are getting around. Nice report and pics. Now the snake thing was hilarious. I would have jumped in the lake.
