What's considered a full tune up on these things?
Plugs
Fuel filter
Clean the throttle body
Whatelse?
I'd like to get one done to mine because it's time...

add an air filter, oil change and oil filter. If the coolant has not been changed in the last several years I would flush the system and put new coolant in it...

also have the water pump checked if it has never been replaced

I have a cold air intake... So wash that... I don't know the history on the truck, I've owned it for 2 years. It has 140,000 miles on it. So I'm thinking a major tune up to prevent any issues. Do these trucks have coil packs or plug wires? Yes I'd like to flush the coolant and I know the transmission was rebuilt 2 years ago. I'm sure maybe a service is due as well...

Clean the intake where the egr ports are with a pipe cleaner, clean the maf sensor, new cop boots lube with dielectric grease, replace the rubber elbow for the pcv tube on the back of the intake. Also if you haven't already replace the idle control valve this would be a good time. As well as the pcv and air filter. Torque the plugs to 32ftlbs very important.

Oh forgot, since you have to remove the throttle body elbow to get to the egr ports clean the elbow too. I always replaced the cops because I could get a set of of eBay relatively inexpensive. If you have the transmission serviced have the differential serviced too.

Cops are coil on plugs

Don't know the Sanger Area, but there is a shop here in Garland that's been family operated for over 60 years that I trust.

I would drop pan on the trans change filter and refil, oil change, new belt/belts, check rear dif to make sure its full, clean/new air filter, run a can of sea foam through it and after you run the sea foam change the plugs. Take the battery out clean terminals and charge it.

Pretty much just a tune up... Plugs, fuel filter, flush fill radiator, change the belt, if there's coil packs change those... I'd like to keep it right around or less than $800.00 if possible? If money allows maybe flush the transmission, that has roughly 30,000 miles on it.

Make sure you use a transmission shop to service your transmission. I get a lot of work because of the people that work at the quick lube places. If you are ever around the Mansfield area, we can service it for you.

not a fan of flushes. I just do a drop pan clean, change filter or clean screen, and fill.
