We are having a tournament out of Cassels-Boykins anyone know of a good place to stay and to fish out of that ramp I see Lakeview RV and motel how is that place.Any info would be nice. Thanks

Lakeview is plenty clean. It's not the Marriott, but it's recently updated and is clean. They also have a short order grill in the store. The only thing they don't have is fuel, but Zavalla and Broaddus is only about 10 minutes away.
Stay away from Jackson Hill.

Lakeview is nice. They recently re did the rooms and they are pretty clean. It has wifi and cable tv.
We have a camper down in the park.

Shirley Creek is a bit up the lake and across from Cassel Boykins but I stayed there recently and was very pleasantly surprised. Awesome place with a ramp and some good fish past that ramp farther into the cove. I will be returning to that location. Cabins were awesome and the bed was very comfortable. It was a place I would feel comfortable taking my wife.
