I really don't think anyone is going to care about the limits, but for those that do..."The maximum number of fish a person may possess before returning to their residence. Possession limit is twice the daily bag on game and nongame fish, except as provided in this guide, and does not apply to fish in the possession of or stored by a person at their residence." It's not an issue.

The cool thing about living on a private lake, like Lake Vilbig, is we have absolutely no state rules. We could catch and eat 100 bass a day if we wanted.

Thanks for the response. It is amazing at the difference in so many laws. I knew that a lot of the game laws are different, and they might have changed here in LA now. For instance, in LA it used to be one could not sell any part of a deer-including the horns. It might have changed now because I see mounted deer heads for sale on Craigslist from time to time. But that's another discussion. Thanks again my Friend and have a blessed day-Eddie

There used to be a diner on Cedar Creek that did this many years ago......1980s.
Not too many takers on the concept so they discontinued the practice.
most fresh water fishermen do not like to mess with a pound or 2 of fish. especially if they are near home.
it is either a BIG fish fry or eat what the restaurant is selling.
