Matt Reed

Many of us fished against Matt Reed way back here in Texas on the semi-pro and team trails before he went big time. Although I have not spoken to Matt in years I always looked for his name in the Elite standings to keep up with the Texas guys. I hate to see him step down but he had a pretty good run and is well respected on the fishing trails. Wishing him the best of luck going forward with his guide business on Fork and Falcon.

It is time for another young Texas guy to step up and hit the big show with Matt leaving.

one guy, that i had the privilege to fish with is blake schroeder, young guy only 1 year younger then me, he's 21 fished out of sfa, and is fishing bfl, flw, and aba and this guy is super smart guy, who is well respected for being so young, and I'm glad i can call him a friend. he's the type we need more of. not these young punk kids who think there [censored] don't stink, yes i know I'm young myself but even i know my place. like i said watch out for him he will be making his way up! and ill be cheering him on if not fishing against him(:
