I have never fished Cedar Creek but the TPWD reports say the water is still fairly clear there and the crappie fishing is good. Thinking about fishing the 198 or 334 bridge. Fishing my small pontoon with out a top so shade is a premium in this heat. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also, are there any places you can buy minnows down there?

At the south end ramps Caney and Log Cabin the bridge there is just a short drive. You can also make it 198 over Clear Creek fairly easily, you can launch on 334 fish that bridge and run to the large 198 section, but it will take a while in a pontoon. The Bridges offer plenty of shade, but not many ways to tie up. Someone should chime in about minnows on or near 334.

Don't know about 334 but the Chevron station on 274 about 3 miles of East of 334 in Tool has minnows.

hit 198 bridges closer to noon as there is most shad ethen. 334 bridge ok most times as it is east west. Docks are always a good choice if jig fishing ( difficult shooting a minnow )

Give me a call and I'll give you some info about Cedar Creek!

Great crappie lake!

I'm always in a good mood when I'm fishing.

Thanks for the offer. Got these too late this week so I went to Fork and had a good day. Will try Cedar Creek next week. Gotta fish all these new lakes while mine is muddy.
