I drift those same humps for blues. Was out last two days , haven't really seen anyone catching huge numbers. I was marking lots of sandbass around the Twin poles this morning. Good luck

Was really slow yesterday for all the boats I saw out with the bright sun and light winds. We managed to grind out a decent day on live shad on the bottom mostly and just a few fish on slabs and jigs. Bite was tough. They are letting a lot of water out right now that's not helping either. Need some clouds and wind again.

I went out yesterday and had them boiling for about 2 hours around twin poles in 30-40 FOW. Most of them were small but they were there. They were there from about 8:30-10:30

Was out yesterday also and the bite was very tough. Marked a few fish in about 35ft of water and they were also boiling around the mid lake humps around 11:30 to 12:30 but most of the fish were small. There were a ton of boats out. We headed home around 1:00 and there were still a ton of boats coming in.

Passed by there a couple of times and saw a few boats there during that time. One boat I remember had umbrellas mounted on the fishing chairs. Not a bad idea as hot as it was. Never even slowed down. We had to have boated 30-40 hybrids and never a single sandy. Few crappie, catfish and a big drum as well. Had at least 4 big fish pull the hook. Toughest day in a while on Lewisville.

Yea, I was about 100 yards north of that boat with the umbrellas. For a while the boil was rolling all around the area. But yea they finally stayed in one area and it was game on

they are letting water out of the lake pretty fast right now so the levels are dropping. I think it is messing up the bite. We did pretty good on Saturday with a couple limits real early. the bite slowed down around 8am. Sunday was brutal. couldn't find the fish so we focused on crappie. even they were slow but we found em on the normal brush piles and bridges we always do. Live bait is working best right now for me. .

Also the thermocline is set in pretty good at around 25-30 FOW. avoid that dead water is you see it.

I asked for help so I guess I'll let yall know what we got. We saw the same schools in the middle of the lake and caught a ton of little ones. We then went to the cut and it was on! Huge sandies and some good hybrids also. My brother in law caught one that was about 8 pounds (we didnt weigh it). Saw a few other boats in there catching them as well. It was a hot but fun day.

I was out there yesterday too. The water was boiling with lots of schools of small white bass. My daughter had a great time catching and releasing. This was her first time to catch fish on a lure.

I looked everywhere for Shad on Saturday and could not find any. Where did you guys find them and what are you tactics right now. I tried a cove, cottonwood marina, and near the cut in the old damn. No shad for me!
