There's too many carp in Joe Poole to have hydrilla come back. Back in the 2000s it was full of it until some one drowned and was found in the hydrilla and they sprayed it then dumped carp all over the lake.

Not sure about the carp statement. I think the whole carp population stays at Lynn Creek fighting for bread with the ducks.

The only place I have found any is near the Lynn creek marina. But you can't really fish it from a boat. Before the floods last year, you could go between the docks and that rock levy and get back in between the bank and a long pier. I caught a few good ones back there in it last May. But now they have cables holding the boat docks and they go across the are that you could get back there in. I have seen no hydrilla anywhere else out there.

The lake levels is what killed it. imo once it gets back to constant level it will come back.
