I changed the oil in my Merc 25 horse four stroke a few weeks ago. I put in the amount I was told it would take by the dealer. It was over-full. When I pulled the dipstick I had some run out.
So I drained it to the proper level, which is fine now but I'm still getting a small amount of drainage from the bottom of the housing onto the lower unit housing.
Is anybody familiar with this problem? Is it possible that something else is leaking? The level is good (checked in the motor down position).
Got any experience with this?
