I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 that is leaking a clear oil from the a/c compressor.
So I wanted to see what this means for me. The truck a/c is still blowing cold air. I am currently in California, and wanted to know if this is something I can take care of when I get back home in Texas.

No, you don't want to cross the desert with no a/c. If it's leaking oil, it's leaking freon. Brace yourself for a repair bill.

What Cast said^^^^

They should replace the compressor, accumulator/dryer, orifice tube or expansion valve, and flush the system. Don't get taken by some shop that short cuts it and only replaces the compressor, you will be hot later.
