I decided to see if I was just a bad guide when I take my wife fishing and, sure nuff, with a top notch guide, she can hold her own. We started at six thirty this am and had two limits by eleven thirty. I bought her an eight foot pro angler rod and new reel and booked this trip for our anniversary. Thirty six years and she hasn't left yet. Jason is top notch and really acted interested in all of my fishing and bow hunting stories, turns out he likes bow hunting also. He can flat put a person on fish.

Nice day for you Joe! Congrats to you on 36 years. Your wife must be a dandy for sure. Does she have a seeing eye dog?

Thanks for the kind words, even you Bobby and Todd. I think y'all were joking. All of my fish were caught on that thermocline tadpole in the monkey milk color. Tboxfish said he was going to start calling me Monkey Milk Joe. I told him to just keep milking those monkeys so I could keep stocked up.
That was my very first time on Palestine and it is an impressive lake. My wife retires in three years and she was looking at homes for sale around the lake while we were driving back to our RV.
