The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our fifth members only tournament last Saturday June 11th on Lake Lavon. It seems someone left the heater on because it was a bit warm out and the clouds stayed with us most of the day. The lake had been fishing great in practice, and then the heavy rain brought it up almost 4 feet and conditions changed drastically. As always though, a few teams really figured them out. We had another awesome turnout of 38 boats and beating them all for their first ever win was Cameron Laing and Patrick Sharp who weighed 5 for 19.59 and also had big bass of 5.57 pounds, Here are full results and pictures from the day.

Nice to have Paul Mitchell back out with us fishing with his son EJ. Their fish weighed 2.77



Kenny and Kasey Bunch also had one but it was a chunky 3.62 pounder



VP Preston Smith and David Horton also had one but it weighed in at 4.24. Nice to see partners share!



Pierre Rebollar, AKA Pierre Bass Angler here on TFF also had one but it was good enough to get the check for 2nd big bass. She weighed in at 5.28

Jared Fish fishing with Treasurer David Simmons had 2 for 5.62



High School anglers Cameron Macanally and Matthew Sprague had 2 for 5.70



Tony Dougherty fishing with Rodney Harrison had 3 for 6.65



Dennis and Damon Machost weighed in just two fish, but they were good ones. 2 for 8.21



Travis Reaves fishing with Jason Hunnicutt weighed in 3 for 8.33



Chris Atkinson and myself had 3 for 8.38 that included a 4.90 big girl



Howard and Randy Bunch had a solid top 10 finish with 4 for 9.65

David Mulkey is back fishing with us and he and Robert Oleson had the non coveted first out of the money seventh place finish with 4 for 10.92



Finishing sixth with 4 for 11.65 were Joe Ruiz and Paul Villarreal. Their bag included a 4.33 big fish.




Finishing fifth but very camera shy were Brandon Putnam and Joey Deans who weighed 5 for 12.29


Continuing a trend of good finishes with a fourth place finish were Vince Burt and Mark Werner who weighed 5 for 16.76



Finishing third with 5 for 16.94 that included a big fish of 5.06 were Doug Rener and Keith Taylor



Speaking of being hot, Ronnie Manning and Capp Peace followed up their win on Bonham with a second at Lavon with 5 for 17.03. Second and fourth were separated by .27 pounds!

HERE are your winners! It's their first ever victory. Congratulations to Cameron Laing and Patrick Sharp who just missed that 20 pound bag weighing 5 for 19.59. They also had big bass of the tournament of 5.57. Way to go guys!
