Any ideas on what this is? I caught two like this in Weatherford today. Sort of looks like eggs but that doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Used to catch them on texoma like that, I'm pretty sure it's either a type of fungus or growth. we kept several like that, and ones with red spot disease and we're alive, but I'm not biologist so I'm not gonna weigh in on whether or not it's safe to keep.
