I'm taking a few buddies to Colorado next week. They are fairly new to fly fishing but have a little experience under their belts. I'm not quite sure if this is the right place to post this, but does anyone in the DFW area have any old gear (specifically rods) they would be willing to sell to my buddies. I have plenty of reels for them. Don't know why they won't buy a cheap one at bass pro or cabelas but thought I might ask around here. I enjoy being in charge of the trip, but not when it comes to their gear. Thanks

Glad to hear y'all are going fishing!
Now let me get this straight, they don't want to spend a lot of money at Bass Pro but want someone to sell them high end stuff at low end prices? I may well be missing the point, just want to be clear.

Bass Pro actually sells a $20 fly rod. Craigslist always has deals on there if you watch it daily.
