Trying to meet up at cedar creek lake with my brother in law and his family for 2 nights starting June 29. We will both have a flat bottom boat and plan on some crappie fishing. The wives will probably want to be close to some shopping and the kids will want to get wet. Any suggestions were we can do all of this and stay together would be great. I have been dying to fish cedar creek and it's a good meeting point for both of our families. There will be 4 adults and 6 kids and Royal budget of $400 for the 2 nights. All suggestions will be accepted and appreciated and the only real requirement is air conditioning, a grill and parking. Tent camping season just ended for me!

A few years back we stayed at the best Western. Rooms were clean and OK. Not real expensive.

Be sure and take all your gear and lock it up at night. Gun Barrel city is notorious for some bad chit happening...
