My son has Baseball in Waco next Thursday thru Sunday. I was thinking of dragging the boat and doing some fishing between games. Lake Waco is 20 foot high. Is it still fishable? What else is close to Lake Waco that I may be able to put my boat in? Navarro is high. Whitney is probably a little further than I want to go. Aquila is 7 foot high....maybe I should leave the boat at home and sit by the pool at the hotel?

Townhouse creek isn't far from there. I fished it weekend before last and caught some flipping it's high too. But it's fishable

Yeah that's what I meant my bad I went to look at rvs in Waco and hauled my boat but Wacos boat ramps were closed! So I got on google maps and found that lake i couldn't remember the name

Tradinghouse is about the only option around Waco right now. It's about 15 minutes east of Waco off of highway 6. I always enjoy fishing it never have much trouble finding fish. You will catch a lot of little fish but there are big ones there to be caught.
