My family and I are wanting to go boating/fishing tomorrow and we'll have to get to a CRA lake. Which lake would you guys choose between Granger and Decker (Walter E. Long)? My daughter and I like to crappie/bluegill fish and she'll want to wakeboard too. The wife won't care where we go...Never been to either but the reports on TPWD site look good for Granger crappie. I'd like to get some nice big gills too... Also, what are some good areas (not asking for GPS coords) to get some good gills/crappie on which lake? Thanks

Granger is closed due to high water.

Yeah, just saw that....thinking might check out Decker...unless Travis would be better for crappie/gill...

I have never been to Decker, but maybe I should start going.
