Yesterday evening I took oldest son out for a quick trip. We netted about 50 3-4" Gizzards at about 6 pm. We headed straight out to the first stop. This was a hump near deeper water with a 22' peak. Scanned around with the side scan for about 3 minutes and located a wolf pack in around 23'. Dropped the I-pilot and anchored. I baited the first rod and then went to set out the second. I was planning on fishing 4 rods. Before I got the second bait to the bottom son was hooked up with a nice hybrid. For the next hour we caught hybrids. Many times two at a time. Noticed a lot of fish holding 60' on the left side of the boat. Took out a slab and proved they could be caught on that as well. We had a great time. Fish are biting well. Headed in and was back at home by 8. Seemed hot outside but the heat was very manageable on the water. Biggest fish was 26.5". Sorry for the angle. cant figure out how to rotate.
