You sir are not a true Aggie and don't represent us very well! This was a fun discussion until you decided to start belittling someone's idea. SMH

Aggie to the bone sir and I do not represent you, I represent me. Did not belittle the idea or the tournament, reread my original post. Merely suggested that 50 might be a little problematic getting them to the weigh point iced down and consideration for any women and kids that might want to be included. There is a chance 50 SB could equal 100 lbs. The haters turned out in force for my suggestion so check out their response before you climb on.

Why not hold a tournament where everyone keeps 5 undersized LMB? Takes them home and eats them like the TPDW keeps asking ya to do?

Good for you Ken, I am shocked that everyone is always complaining about the fishery going down hill and just a few willing to do their part to help out. Ha!

You sir have taken the 1st step in the right direction. I don't fish for black bass but, I am willing to help, just let me know how.

Sounds all good, but just a word of caution weighing dead fish in. In this heat sandbass die really easy so an icechest is a nescessity, just be careful of white gills, this is an indication of fish spoilage, those should not be weighted in or eaten. Just my 2 cents
Also post all this in the sandbass section, you very well could have a SB tourney similar to Macdonalds total entries

guys we need to make this work with some guides offering sand bass trips over LMB should open our eyes up to what is going on with the lake. I don't think we will have a problem with some teams getting their limit but not everyboat will. like ken said he will take care of the fish with the ones people don't want.

hopefully this works out really well and we can have multiple tournys even taking out 500, 1k, 2k, whatever will surely help this lake out tremendously just think if we have multiple tournys and theres over say 3k+ fish taken out thats a lot of sandbass even better when those who sand bass fish go out later in the year and have trouble catching some.

I'll post locations of fish I find if anyone needs help, a modest entry fee just for fun is my feelings.. Winning is always the goal in competition, but this should be all about the harvest imo...

Let's keep the congratulatory back-slapping to ourselves for now. This is still in the early phase but the interest seems to be quite high.

Keep the ideas coming guys. thumb
