What's the length and bag limit on these?

If they are close enough that you can hit them with a jitterbug, devils horse, or other topwater lure with two or three treble hooks, they are fair game. Just hook them and reel them in. 50# test line with a good stout saltwater rod and reel works well.

There is no size limit, but about three per day is about all you can probably handle.

Sometimes they are difficult to net, in which case just catch, cut the line, and release.

Probably the only time I would enjoy snagging.

In East Texas, we used dynamite for the big ones.

They are an invasive species. No limit. Problem is they can be transported to other bodies of water. We need some new legislation to prevent their spread, but it might be too late.

I love how people talk a big game about slinging a lure at a jet ski. One day you'll get your [censored] beat or shot. Call the game warden if there giving you a problem. It's illegal to disturb an angler while he's trying to catch fish or hunt animals. So it's harassment they'll get or if you decide to be billy badass and hurl a lure at them you could face assault charges and jail time. So make your choice.

Yeah, I doubt you have done that.

Easy there hoss! I'm sure the guys are just having a little fun. No need to get your knickers in a knot about it. Everyone knows the realities of assaulting someone on the water.

Looks to me as y'all are the one with panties in a wad lol. I just think it's hilarious all these keyboard warriors talking like here's casting a dd22 at someone's head. I would say 9/10 of posts, most who claim that they're throwing lures at people are trying to come off as serious. Maybe y'all comment on the op and not worry about what others think.. It's an opinion and hate to tell you folks but everyone has one..

So, this is always a touchy subject. I used to Ride JetSki's the original ones, and I always minded the others on the lake and kept mindful of the image I gave (Other than the Paint job) LOL when the first Sit downs started to come around, we Stand up riders, were not pleased, any fool could get on one an ride, and Ride they did, and wreck they did. I have owed a Sit down, and have no skies now, but the fools I still see are un real. Just the other day wife and I were in the Jon boat on LL and a Guy and gal came around the corner, on a big ski Full blast, and came within 40 feet of us, almost lost my cool but what can I do in a Jon boat, but this fool went between the little trees (In the water and the bank), where there are so many Stumps (in that area). How they did not hurt themselves and wreck was beyond me and my wife. Just like Guns, it is not the JetSki it is the DA behind the throttle, and all JetSki owners are not idiots, yet all Idiots own a JetSKi.. sorry some old humor. now, there are just as many Idiots behind a Boat wheel, as well as Cars... if you think not just head to LL Tower Bay around 7:00 to 10:00 PM on Friday and Sat night...

To whom it may concern:

I had no idea that my post would be taken seriously. My post was meant to be entirely a joke, sarcasm, cartoon, or other levity, and was intended to complement the original poster's question.

Under no circumstances would I consider any act of violence against any other person who is simply enjoying himself on the lake.

There is lots of room on most lakes, and if I am annoyed, I will move to a quieter spot.

I apologize to all who became upset with my post, and promise not to do it again.
