Its so different fishing it mon-fri than saturday-sunday. Its impossible to fish a deep point without someone cruising by right in front of you on the weekends. I hate that. Btw if you want numbers throw small baits by floating docks

I was there all day Saturday and Sunday. My best time was just before sunset. I agree there are lots of people just cruising around that come close to you and have no idea they are screwing up the fishing. On the other hand, I met a couple of really nice dock owners I enjoyed chatting with. And I got to say hi to a really nice guy on a boat that I met a couple of weeks ago when he fished by my dock while I was organizing my tackle. He has a black lab with a red life jacket that lays on the bow and "fishes" with him. I wish my lab was calm enough to take him in my boat. I also got caught out on the water Sunday afternoon during that bad rain storm. I was just leaving Dozier slough and the sky opened up to a torrential rain. I put on my sunglasses so I could drive fast back to my dock without the raindrop needles getting in my eyes.
