Well folks we are winding down on the dock trips for the softball team and today was Ernest's & Guy's turn. As the title says when fishing with these two it's always about the decisions that have to be figured out. First its was where are meeting up, then what time, and be sure to bring donuts and diet Pepsi for Ernest. Well we got all those things under control and off we went. Ernest says we don't want to keep any fish strictly catch and release today, and I was kind of glad since I really didn't want to clean 50 fish while they watched.

We started off fishing docks and first dock Guy catches his usual drum and me and Ernest are chuckling and then wham the first double.



We fish on and finally find a dock that is fairly loaded. Even one armed Guy still has the touch.



Not sure what Ernest was doing but Guy was putting a whuppin on him catching one fish after another.


Somewhere along the way Guy says ouch, pulled something in my arm and says I'm done dock shooting. I'm done with this for the day as they pull in another double.



Guy says let's go fish some brush piles so off we go and that's when the decision maker had to get serious about what he was going to use. Can't fish a brush pile with just any old jig have to have just the right one.



Ernest gets the prize for the biggest fish of the day really wasn't much bigger than his jig.



We ended the day with 40 crappie caught on the clicker, thanks for donating fellas, and we will do it again anytime you want.

It was a real nice morning to be on the water for sure!!! Glad ya'll did good. We had 3 limits in time for lunch and had some pigs. Caught em every stop we made. Good times!!!

Keyboard told me that his rods were staying put today with those two celebs ... WTG and am sure it was a great day for all

It was a great time fishing with Larry. It's has been a long time since I went fishing and the only thing I had to do was....fish. And yeah, I did something to the bicep, again, and it's swollen up and very off-color....again. But if I had to hurt it, I can't think of a way that I had rather, than putting lots of big fish in the boat. Thanks again Larry for a great trip....and did I tell you that his boat is "too fast"

You guys are making me jealous. Our lake, belton, is not the greatest under any conditions and now it is up 25'. Maybe by mid summer.

Guy - that's what the bungee cord in the back of the boat was for. You got to strap your skinny self in before he gets to hammering.
